Sometimes people are very smart. I do not put myself into this category. However, I feel like I have to watch out for the person who is. He feels he is a vessel full to overflowing with information. To be honest, he still has a little room at the top to spare.
My husband is a physical fitness merit badge counselor. He's very fit. He knows how to exercise. He has good genes. He worships Arnold Schwarzeneggar and Franco Columbu. One has a phD in nutrition. One is an actor. I'll let you figure it out.
Anyhoo, there is both good and bad information out there on nutrition, exercise, and health. He has a very mixed bag.
I sit here and listen to him. He is watching me and he knows that I'm listening. I nod positively at him when he's right and give him "the look" when he's not. Don't mean to detract from his spiel, but I don't want him to giving out bad information here. As a nurse, it's a little embarrassing.
I must say, he's doing pretty well with this kid (the light is on, but no one's home; total stereotypical "California Dude"). There is quite a lot of room in this vessel.
Dude! Fill 'er up!
