Anyone remember that show from the early 90's? I LOVED that show. We had just come back to the states after my husband had fought in a war and it hit so close to home! Plus, it was set in Ohio, and where were we? Ohio! So cool.
There were so many things I loved and still love about that show. I have them on DVD, which I got from VHS tapes. The fashions, the simplicity, the story lines! My favorites were Jeff and Ginger. He was/is so hunky (Friday Night Lights!!) and she is just a pip!
I was sorely disappointed when it was cancelled after two seasons. Two! What are you going to do with characters for only two seasons, I ask you! Not much. It should have taken the setting at least into the 50's. At least they did try to tie up all the loose ends. Jeff and Ginger got married, Al and Anne moved to New Jersey, Linda finally found someone she could respect, Charlie finally got someone who really loved him and a daughter to boot (Gina and Emma). The only one left a little nebulous was Caroline and the coach who was portraying that he was a wealthy millionaire. Was it to get back at her for causing problems with Jeff and Ginger? His team? Had he heard about her reputation and wanted to be "Lady's Man Zelnick," again? That's one that I'd like to know.
What do y'all think?

I loved that show...it was the topic of conversation during many Sharon Drive walks with Holly, Tess, Anna, me, the tots and my dogs.
(I wore black for weeks after its cancellation.)
