Ever want to really try something that you think you'd be good at but are really chicken to try? That's what I'm wrestling with. No, Suzy, it's not making your delicious tortilla soup (which everyone should try because it's so nummy-licious)! That's my new word: nummy-licious. Anyhoo, I'm trying to write. Yes, more than a grocery list. I just need to get the guts up to do it.
Nothing much going on here. My son called from school. All by himself, too. I didn't even have to initiate the phone call! He said it is super cold there, right now and he's just getting over a cold. Poor baby. Between him and one of his roommates (who self diagnosed himself with diabetes, lactose intolerance, THEN broke a Q-tip off in his ear), they keep the medical personnel pretty busy. Oh, btw, his room mate isn't diabetic. When I told him they'd medically board him out of the service, his symptoms disappeared. Am I a healthcare professional or what? He even sent the dates that he'd have for spring break. Of course it's not anywhere near Easter, but 8 days is 8 days!
Well, my rump is getting numb, now, I've been on this computer so long. AND I have to get ready to go to church, so I'll bid every one adieu till I have something more interesting to write!
