Does anyone else notice how I begin my blogs with "Okay?" Annoying. At least to me. But, I'm pretty sure I don't have too many blog followers, so I'll try to reign myself in.

I just got back from taking the dog on a long walk. Maybe I walked some of the naughty out of him, but I sincerely doubt it. He's so darn cute and so bad sometimes. I lost count of how many times he stopped to check AND leave p-mail. My shoulder feels like he may have pulled it out of socket. At the moment, he's lying obediently at my feet. Probably thinking up ways or resting up for the next round of, "The Next Adventures of Mischevious Max."

I also went to church tonight. Glad I took notes, because I still think back on parts of the sermon with confusion. I really have to learn The Word. I think we sing too many songs and the minister has to rush at the end. I don't like that. Yes, it is appropriate to praise and worship Christ, but at the same time, I want to learn His Word. The Sunday school classes are great, though. I come away with SO much. I love the classes at my church. :)

I'm thinking A LOT about my mom. I always do around Christmas. I hear Johnny Mathis Christmas songs on my Ipod or the radio and I feel so melancholy. There are certain songs by Mannheim Steamroller I can't listen to without tears. I miss my mom, so much. I feel like my family of origin is slowly being chipped away. First, my mom, then, my brother. Next? I keep thinking of that song by Sweetwater, "I am a motherless child."

Did have a GREAT football day today. First, Navy beat Army! Whoo hoo! THEN, Gators beat Alabama! How cool is that? Unless you're from AL and support them. Tim Tebow is such a great quarterback and he had Phil 4:13 written on the blacking underneath his eyes. After the game, he first thanked his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It was AWESOME!!

Anyway, not much going on right now. Just thought I'd update for no particular reason.
