When I got up this morning, my voice was squeaking. Sounded kind of cute. Just hope I am NOT getting sick!

Anticipating the oldest's return tomorrow! Cannot wait. A million and one things to do!

Since the snow (we still have snow left in our yard), the streets have gotten a little better. Little fish-tailey leaving yesterday for work, but as soon as I got on the highway, it was a lot better. Coming home, I saw the sand trucks out spraying the road. No salt for CA. Sand is much greener and organic. I write that half joking.

Going back to work yesterday was different. I had to wear my Sorrel boots. I don't think they make them anymore, but they are kick butt. When I put them on, I realized I had these boots for 20 years! And they still look great! Anyhoo, I park, there is snow and ice all over the place, but I plant my boots on the ground and away I go. Okay, granted I had my high heels in my purse for later on, but I was still independant woman walking through that icey whiteness. I think I may have impressed the paramedics. ;)

Anyway, I'm feeling very blessed today. Tomorrow, my family will be complete and I can relax a bit.

Love to you all!
